THE COOKHOUSE ACCOMMODATION Glendhu cookhouse homestay is situated 45minutes drive South East of Martinborough. The homestay is run in conjunction with Glendhu and Pahaoa Station, a large sheep and cattle station which is situated along the south Wairarapa coast. The Cookhouse is basic but comfortable and can sleep up to 10 guests. Located on Glendhu Station it is only a 5minute drive to the coast or a 15minute walk. The cookhouse has two hot showers, full kitchen/bathroom, BBQ, fridge/freezer and washing machine.Heating via metro wee rad fireplace and oil heater. You will need to bring linen/ blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries. Guests are welcome to enjoy the vast countryside, bring along your mountain bike, do a spot of fishing up the Pahaoa river, or on the coast, swim, or just relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenary that makes up the 12 km of unpopulated coastline. We do prefer however to only take 2 people hunting at a time. You will have the choice of Red or Fallow Deer. FEES Meat Hunts $250 per animal plus $100 guiding fee.
